Edgar Wright Masterclass in Total Film Magazine

Lovely to find that Total Film’s January 2014 edition has an article about the BFI Film Academy for aspiring 16-19 year old filmmakers, which takes place at the NFTS.  Complete with a photo from the Edgar Wright Masterclass I organised as part of this year’s BFI Film Academy:

It was a hugely fun and entertaining event, read more about it here.  The highlight was probably old friends Edgar and interviewer Corin Hardy being game enough to screen a clip of the two of them, aged around seventeen, on 1990s TV show Gimme5 with some of their first filmmaking work:

Vintage Festival Film

Had a great time helping out some NFTS students making a film about the first Vintage festival, held on the beautiful Sussex Downs in 2010.

With fairground rides, a vintage motorbike ‘wall of death’, classic cars, a 1920s dance-club, the Chap Olympics, a host of brilliantly dressed people and stacks of music.  Here’re a few pictures from the festival:
