As Executive Producer at the NFTS I’ve enjoyed developing and overseeing production of numerous promos made by students and recent graduates.  Here are a few of them:

Autograph Hotels

The promo directed by Roland Kennedy for Autograph Hotels won a Gold Arrow for Best Student Commercial at the British Arrows 2018.  It tells the story of Wilson ‘Snowflake’ Bentley, who was the first to photograph snowflakes and discover no two were the same.

NFTS Inclusion Promo

Supporting NFTS students to make a film about Inclusion, Diversity and Equality and how the NFTS values difference and the richness it brings to the stories we tell.  Featuring NFTS graduates, including writer-director Shola Amoo (The Last Tree) and Animation Director, Writer and Series Creator Edward Foster (The Rubbish World of Dave Spud).

Of the promos made for clothing company Jigsaw, Teach a Man to Fish, directed by Tom Day, won the Gold Arrow for Best Student Commercial at the British Arrow Craft Awards in 2016.

Jigsaw promo, New Wave Jeans, written & directed by Roland Kennedy  was nominated for Best Student Commercial at the 2017 British Arrow Craft Awards.

Promos Executive Produced for Odeon Cinema Group include one for their Limitless card, directed by Meg Campbell:

Random House

The NFTS Booktrailer promos for Random House and the Bookseller Magazine I had the pleasure of developing and Exec Producing include this one for the James Ellroy novel Blood’s a Rover, directed by James W. Griffiths who went on to win a BAFTA in 2014 for his short film Room 8.

And this one for Sadie Jones’s novel The Outcast, directed by Felix Weidemann:


Working independently I’ve also produced two Booktrailer Promos for the Jacqueline Wilson children’s novels Hetty Feather and Sapphire Battersea, published by Random House:
